Well done Team DSB!

What a super week we have here at Dorchester! Children have been working hard to shine their lights. Willow Class have been investigating capacity in their maths work this week. They have also been making and preparing lovely things for special people to receive over the weekend.

Hazel Class are working hard to ensure their Passion Play is a visual feast for us all to celebrate Easter in the Abbey next week. Oak Class have been using their new guided reading book 'The Firework Maker's Daughter' to help write character descriptions.

You are all welcome to join us for our Easter Passion Play service in the Abbey on Friday 4th April at 1.15pm.

Please be reminded that school finishes at 2pm on Friday 4th April.

I was so proud of Year 6 who attended a Netball tournament yesterday in Didcot. They had to play against teams from much bigger schools than us and absolutely smashed it. They convincingly won two of their games, drew one game and then sadly lost their final game which turned out to be a crunch match - with a tiny difference of 3 goals in the end. We came second overall in the whole tournament which was such a good achievement. We were also thrilled that our goal shooter, Ajayla, won star player of the whole tournament. The whole team demonstrated passion, determination, resilience and good teamwork in addition to playing great netball. Well done squad!
