Snails, Whales, Lions and Mayans!
What an amazing start to the term we have had already! New topics are well underway and there is a great learning buzz around school.
The children in Hedgehogs have been busy growing things and were lucky enough to taste their own produce yesterday morning – they had spinach, chives and lettuce.
Squirrel Class have been investigating the story of the Snail and the Whale. They have identified adjectives from the story. Fox class are enjoying a Lion in Paris and have been thinking carefully about the pictures and the feelings that the book evokes. Owl class have started to look at artefacts linked to the ancient Mayans.
Although this half term is only short it is very busy and we are packing in a range of activities for our children. You can find the plans for each class on the website.
