Shining your light and making us proud

Welcome back to term 2; always a busy and exciting term with the lead up to Christmas.

Our children have done us proud this week. We had an open morning yesterday with lots of visitors. The comments received were positive and our visitors especially enjoyed being shown round school by some of older children. Well done to everyone for shining your lights and showing how brilliant we are here.

Hedgehog class have been having lots of firework fun this week. They have used black glittery play- dough and ribbons and sticks with firework music to represent fireworks.

Squirrel Class have also been thinking about fireworks and using some amazing similes to describe them.

Fox Class have been busy getting stuck into their class novel, Varjak Paw. They have been considering how the author makes us like or dislike certain characters in the text.

Owl Class had an exciting afternoon yesterday as Year 6 started forest school and Year 5 immersed themselves in some drama where they had to consider their survival skills and how humans can impact the environment.
