Sharing toys from days gone by

Hedgehog class have been looking at the story of Farmer Duck in their drawing club this week. They have made insects with pairs of legs to help reinforce pairs of numbers.

Squirrel class enjoyed their grandparents day on Tuesday. It was so lovely to invite grandparents in to share their experiences of old toys. The children really benefited from the wealth of knowledge and exciting games and toys that were shared. We got some very positive feedback from the visiting adults too. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the morning such a great success.

Fox Class have been working especially hard in maths this week. They have been learning how to use partitioning to help them divide big numbers. They have also been recreating their own versions of Henri Rousseau's rainforest pictures.

Owl Class are working hard on diary entries based on Boy in the Tower. They also found out about how volcanoes are formed and what happens when a volcano erupts.

Well done everyone. Keep up the good work.
