Nuture and nature

Another week has flown by and the children at Dorchester St Birinus continue to amaze us with their compassionate attitudes and positivity. I have seen our older children in particular demonstrating how welcoming and friendly they can be this week and I am really proud of the way our school community look after each other.

Hedgehogs have been making owls with a variety of materials this week. I also had the pleasure of hearing them all read on Monday and was so impressed with the progress they have made.

Squirrel class continue to find out all about space and are writing some interesting questions.

Fox class are working hard to write stories and have been introduced to spreadsheets in computing.

Owl class made us so proud at the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education annual service in the Abbey on Thursday. They had to sing a number of new songs in front of a large number of head teachers and governors from around Oxfordshire. They were truly great ambassadors for our school.
