Nearly there!

Our Hedgehogs and Squirrels did themselves and us proud on Tuesday with their marvellous Nativity. They had worked so hard to remember all their lines and songs and the show itself was beautiful. Well done to all of them. There is a new gallery of photos from the Nativity on our website.

Fox Class performed their violins for some classes on Wednesday. They were very impressive and have come such a long way. Congratulations Fox Class.

Owl Class presented their Egyptian learning by creating an exhibition for parents and Fox Class at the end of last week. It was a great opportunity for them to share their learning and they particularly enjoyed creating some gruesome exhibits to show what the Ancient Egyptians believed about the afterlife. Good work Owl Class!

Year six braved the cold on Wednesday for their final forest school session. They wrapped up warm and made s'mores over the fire. While they were away, Father Christmas visited the school! He gatecrashed the Key Stage 1 party and it was wonderful to see the joy on the faces of the children as he told them all about his reindeer and his wife! He also paid a visit to the rest of the children around school. A lovely surprise for us all.

Christmas lunch was delicious and the children were well behaved and displayed good manners. Year five and six servers were especially helpful; ensuring that all children had what they needed. Thank you! We also need to say a big thank you to our cook, Kim, who worked so hard to make the lunches for us. The chocolate marble cake was especially appreciated!
