Keeping warm and keeping busy!

There are lots of exciting things happening here as we move towards Christmas but our children continue to shine their lights by working hard and staying focused.

Hedgehogs braved the cold at forest school yesterday afternoon. They are becoming a wonderful group of hard working children who are making great progress with their phonics and understanding of numbers. This week they have been learning 1 more and 1 less. They should be proud of what they have achieved since starting with us in September.

Squirrel Class have been working really hard this week, not only practising their Nativity, but also writing an extended piece of writing to tell the story.

Fox Class have also been getting stuck into some writing and have worked incredibly hard on their formal letters to Roman Gods. They were incredibly proud of their new prayer book and enjoyed showing me how much their handwriting has improved over the last few weeks.

Owl Class are realising how important their tables are as they are tackling long multiplication and division. They are also looking forward to exhibiting their Ancient Egyptian knowledge later in the exhibition.
