It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
As another busy week comes to an end it is good to take some time to reflect on some of the wonderful things going on around our school. Reception children went on an impromptu dinosaur hunt on Wednesday afternoon. They had 'heard' some dinosaurs and decided to try and trap them! Years One and Two have been working hard on some persuasive letters. They have written some letters to me asking me if they can have some Christmas decorations in their classroom!
Year 3 and 4 had a super science sound workshop on Monday morning. They took part in lots of practical experiments and learned lots about how sound travels and how the ear works.
Year 5 and 6 have been impressing us this week with their fractions work. They have been busy in computing learning how to use the 'count' tool in spreadsheets.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (can you read that without singing it?!) in our school as a beautiful tree arrived yesterday. We're looking forward to seeing it lit up and decorated by our younger children. Please check the newsletter for important information in the run up to Christmas.
