Heroes for the day

We have had a super week here at Dorchester St Birinus School with the children (and adults!) all working really hard and making great progress with their learning.

Hedgehog class are amazing us all with their fantastic writing about farm animals. They’ve also been engaged in some interesting counting activities this week.

Squirrel class have been working on writing their own version of the Queen’s Hat; planning the story and using some brilliant vocabulary.

Fox Class are investigating the Iron Man book and are using it as a stimulus for some writing. They’ve also designed some beautiful dragon eyes which we can’t wait to see modelled in clay.

Owl Class are writing a shipwreck story and have been working so hard to improve their maths skills. All our children should be proud of what they are achieving.

In school today children are dressed as heroes. They look fabulous and so far today I have had conversations with Sir David Attenborough, Axl Rose, doctors, Spiderman and numerous Wonderwomen (our staff!). Please don’t forget to donate to Comic Relief here https://www.comicrelief.com/

Thank you!
