Happy half-term!

We cannot believe that we have reached the end of the first half term of the school year 2022-23! Well done to everyone for settling in so well to the year. We know we are going to achieve many things this year if this first half term is anything to go by.

We have been focused on our value of knowledge this term . We have been thinking about developing our growth mindset, learning from mistakes and challenging ourselves. We want our children to be resilient learners who know that sometimes things can be difficult. This week we said 'If things get tough, we get tough'.

Next half term our collective worship sessions will focus on our value of diversity. This will also fit in with the work children will be doing in class in their Jigsaw (PSHE) sessions. We will be celebrating our differences and encouraging our children to treat everyone with respect, regardless of background, gender, race or any other protected characteristics.
