Dorchester St Birinus Forest School Fun
We have enjoyed a wet but productive week here in school. Willow Class have been looking at the story: Princess Smartypants. They have used adjectives to describe characters. They also learnt about family trees and have been doing lots of outside number line work. Our Reception children had their first forest school experience this week and loved it.
Hazel Class have learnt more about the Romans. They've dresssed and labelled gladiators and became a Roman army for an afternoon. They've also looked at the story of Romulus and Remus and used maps to find out about Roman roads.
Oak Class Year 5 and 6 have been learning some interesting science about evolution and how humans have evolved while Year 4 have learnt about the function of the skeleton.
