What an exciting week we have been having here in school with preparations for the big Coronation party in full swing. On Wednesday we enjoyed the special coronation fly past from RAF Benson. We think we managed to create the shape of a crown on the playground so it will be interesting to see the aerial photographs that were taken from the Puma that circled our playground waving to the children. Some of the children were convinced that the King was actually in the helicopter waving to them!

We also enjoyed another wonderful Open the Book assembly in school this morning with a dramatic performance, music, puppetry and singing from the local team of volunteers.

All our children continue to work really hard. Some year groups are preparing for a variety of assessments and are demonstrating a really positive attitude in the way they are responding to the demands on them. We just want to encourage all our children to shine their lights and do their best.
