Conkers and conquerors!

October already and another busy week has passed here at St Birinus. Willow Class have had an exciting week this week as the huge egg in their classroom disappeared! They had lots of ideas about who the egg belonged to. Was it a dinosaur? Was it a dragon? There were definitely some mysterious footprints around school too! Year One had a lovely forest school afternoon with Elena- even though the Hurst was still flooded. They went for a walk to see the floods and then walked to the park for some forest school games and activities - lots of conkers were discovered.

Hazel Class have had another great week with Mr McDonnell. They have enjoyed making Roman armour and Roman shields.

Oak Class have done some amazing maths this week tackling column subtraction. They are also working hard using their coding to create traffic light simulations.
