Christmas has arrived at DSB
Christmas has well and truly arrived here at Dorchester St Birinus this week! We have taken delivery of a lovely tree which DASH club have decorated beautifully. We also enjoyed Santa flying over in his Puma helicopter on his way to drop off presents donated by school staff to children in the John Radcliffe Hospital. Another Christmas highlight of the week was the pantomime yesterday. Children enjoyed watching an updated version of Sleeping Beauty, singing along to the songs and dancing to the music. It has put us all in a festive mood as we look forward to our Nativity next week. There is also a Christmas post box in school if children would like to write cards to each other.
Oak Class are going to sing to the local community in the village hall today. We are really proud of them for doing this and we hope the audience enjoy listening to them.
