Another week of learning at DSB

As we come to the end of another busy week, we can take some time to reflect on some of the brilliant things that are going on around school. Our younger children are continuing to learn about Neil Armstrong and why he is famous. They are settling so well into their new routines and it is a joy to spend time with them all.

Our year three and four children have been undertaking some maths problem solving and have been exploring some Aboriginal art work. They also took part in some drama considering the voyage of some explorers.

Year five and six are setting the bar high and being fabulous role models to the rest of the school. They are writing non- chronological reports at the moment and have mounted a campaign to try to persuade us to buy them some new chairs. I have received letters from each child explaining why they should have new chairs and have been impressed with the dedication they have shown in claiming to have bad backs every time they see me!
