All things Christmas
Willow Class wowed us with their Nativity on Tuesday. We were very proud of their beautiful singing, clear voices and wonderful acting. Well done.
Hazel Class and Oak Class have also been busy performing this week. They went and sang songs to the residents at the John Masefield Care Home and it was clear that this was appreciated by all involved.
Key Stage Two children also took part in a wonderful concert in the Abbey last night. Their singing was beautiful and they definitely got the loudest cheer of the evening. I am so proud of the way the children conducted themselves and showed such great respect to the professional choir. We received some lovely comments from the event organisers and charity trustees afterwards and I would like to personally thank Jeremy Boughton, the abbey choir master, for teaching our children the songs with such patience and good humour.
All classes enjoyed parties yesterday and we want to say a huge thanks to Kim for making such a delicious Christmas dinner for us.
We also enjoyed a visit from Santa Claus and the children were all given a bag of sweets and a wooden bauble to decorate. Thank you to the PTA for being Santa's elves and making this possible (and of course to Santa himself!).
