A super busy week!
What a super busy week we have had here at Dorchester St Birinus.
Our Key Stage 2 children went for a visit to the Dorchester Museum and were very excited to learn about the Roman history in Dorchester.
We also had our open morning yesterday and were once again reminded how fabulous our children here are as they really showed themselves in their best light; being friendly and welcoming to all our prospective parents. The Year 6 and Year 5 children who showed people round were brilliant and it was so lovely to see how proud they are of their school. Some of our visitors commented about how lovely it was to meet the Reception children who were so keen to talk about their learning. Well done everyone!
The Year 1 children went to forest school and enjoyed a fire on a cold but sunny day. They also made forest crowns and did some 'fishing' in the river!
