We have had a great week here in school. Children are working very hard and we are pleased to say that the phonics screening and the multiplication tables checks have been completed with children stepping up to the mark and enjoying being able to show what they have been learning.

Willow Class have been considering the story of the Whale and the Snail this week. I have seen some very impressive writing from all year groups in Willow Class. Well done!

Hazel Class have been thinking about using persuasive language to encourage people to visit Dorchester. They have been around the village and the Abbey to inspire them.

Oak Class are writing gothic stories and have been writing some amazing setting descriptions. They are also getting excited about their upcoming residential trip to Woodlands. Mrs Eade and Mrs Winchester will be accompanying them on this trip so I have the pleasure of Hazel Class next week.
