Dorchester St. Birinus C.E. Primary School is committed to the development of more able pupils whatever their gifts and talents. Each child is encouraged to do their very best in every area of the curriculum, recognising also the emotional, social, spiritual and health aspects important to the development of the whole child. A variety of strategies and teaching skills are deployed in the classroom to ensure that each child is appropriately challenged. Wherever possible, staff provide enrichment, extension materials, resources and expertise to ensure that a pupil’s needs are met.
